1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Broadify (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use Broadify (“Service”).

We are committed to transparency about our data practices, especially given that Broadify uses AI to process your content.

2. Data We Collect

Account Information

When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. If you use Google or Apple sign-in, we receive basic profile information from those providers.

Content & Source Material

We process the content you provide as inputs: URLs, pasted text, uploaded files (PDF, DOCX, XLSX), and audio files. This material is used solely to generate content for you.

Usage Data

We collect information about how you use Broadify, including pages visited, features used, content generated, and timestamps. This helps us improve the Service.

Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number. We receive and store your Stripe customer ID, subscription status, and billing history.

Workspace Data

If you are part of a workspace, we store workspace membership, roles, and activity logs to support team collaboration features.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • Provide and operate the Service, including AI content generation
  • Manage your account, subscription, and workspace
  • Send transactional emails (invitations, billing, campaign reminders)
  • Improve our AI models and platform quality
  • Enforce our Terms of Service and prevent abuse
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. AI & Your Content

Your source material and generated content are processed by third-party AI providers (currently OpenAI). We send content to these providers solely for generation purposes.

Important details about AI processing:

  • Source material you provide is sent to AI providers to generate content
  • We cache scraped URLs and transcriptions to improve performance, but only for publicly accessible content
  • AI prompt logs (inputs and outputs) are stored for debugging and quality improvement
  • We do not use your content to train our own AI models

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

  • AI Providers (OpenAI) for content generation
  • Supabase for authentication and database hosting
  • Stripe for payment processing
  • Resend for transactional email delivery
  • Firecrawl for URL scraping when you provide source URLs
  • AssemblyAI for audio transcription

Each provider processes data under their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data and content for as long as your account is active. Trashed projects and campaigns are soft-deleted and can be recovered from the Trash page.

Permanently deleted content is removed from our databases. Cached URL content expires automatically based on configured TTL. Prompt logs are retained for debugging and may be periodically purged.

If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • AES-256-GCM encryption for stored API keys
  • Supabase Row Level Security for database access
  • HTTPS for all data in transit
  • Rate limiting on API endpoints
  • Auth guards on all server actions and API routes

While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no system is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Object to certain processing activities
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

9. Cookies

Broadify uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use Supabase Auth cookies to maintain your login session.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We do not use third-party analytics services that place cookies on your device.

10. Children's Privacy

Broadify is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
